26/02/2010 Island Paradise

Hired a crappy bike (150 baht) from the bungalow owner and set out to explore the island. We didn’t get very far before we found a fantastic beach where we decided to spend the day!

The beach had some of the clearest water we have seen on our trip and the fish life was incredible. The fish were basically only a metre from the shore and the cheeky little zebra looking buggers would sneak up and bite you.

Later on discovered the party end of town where we walked along the beach and had an ice-cream and watched the sunset. Rode the bike back along the goat track in the dark which was a bit dangerous but we couldn’t seem to get back to the main road for ages (even the police station is situated on this track – weird!)
