24/02/2010 Hangover from hell

Had to go back to the beach to pick up the hotel bike and had a swim while we were there.  Grahame was hungover and couldn’t walk because he hurt his leg but we still managed to drag the bike back to the hotel by 11am

As Grahame could hardly walk we hired a bigger bike (busted them down to 300baht for a brand new 150cc scooter) from town and went north around the island visiting Haad Thong Nai Pan Yai (we had a swim here after the bouncy dusty roads), Baan Chaloklum and Haad Mae Head on the way. The roads on the East coast were much better

Found a really good restaurant on the coast – great curries and amazing location. Had this restaurant been in Australia the land would be worth millions and the food would have been priced accordingly! Bought a couple of those amazing donuts at the Thongsala market on the way home to eat on the ferry tomorrow.
