Back to the good beach for a swim and breakfast (wanted coffee but we were misled!) and then we took the bike back to the agent before we headed home for our transfers to the port. Friendly’s had the best mini-bus we have seen anywhere on our travels – if only we were travelling everywhere in this we wouldn’t complain. Reclining leather seats and big-screen TV with room to move!

Caught the ferry to Koh Tao from the main port of Thongsala and on arrival found we were in a little fishing village area. We couldn’t walk far because Grahame’s knee was so bad and we also had to find a room with no stairs! Found a basic little thatched roof bungalow with a fan and cold shower not far from the port and then walked into the town to find some food.

Save Bungalows, Koh Tao (500 Baht w cold shower and fan – we are getting cheaper and losing our flashpacker status!
