Got up early again for a final swim at Chaweng Beach and then headed back for our transport to the port and the ferry to Koh Phangan. Another great ferry trip where I discovered it only costs an extra dollar to sit in the VIP section where there are hardly any other passengers, good air-con and a movie! Koh Phangan wasn’t very far away but I will remember this tip for future ferry rides! Upon arrival at the Baan Haad Rin Wharf we walked the streets looking for accommodation – strangely there were no hawkers at the wharf! After much sweaty wandering around and discovering that the beaches weren’t too nice we found Friendly’s resort on Haad Rin Nai which had average rooms but came with a pool! Of course we spent the next couple of hours in the pool and had a pizza before checking out the town.
