9/01/2010 The Battle Box

Spent a bit of time on the net this morning updating our blog and then made our way to the ‘Battle Box’ – a fantastic underground museum in a WWII bunker that gives you the history of the invasion of Singapore by the Japanese using wax models (that are animated!) and recorded dialogue based on the records at the time

For our last night we decided to hang out at the pub where we were staying as we hadn’t spent any time there except for breakfast. They have bands every night so we ordered take away from the bar (they have a menu based on local restaurants which they order and have delivered for you – good system) and listened to the band until sleepytime (we had another 4am start the next day!).
