We packed up and hit the road back to Sengiggi. Nice casual drive and pretty much dropped off the car got a lift back to our Hotel and jumped into the pool. As usual the regular hawkers who seemed to live under a tree out the front were there to annoy us.
They were lucky I had to buy a new cap as I had left my most excellent Bali cap at some little shop near Bangsal Harbour. So I now have the cool Lombok cap.
We actually wandered down the beach in the other direction and discovered these neat restaurants on the beach only a few hundred metres away. We had only walked down the beach the other way and did not realize the options the other way.
We had a very nice pizza at Alberto’s. You could not tell it was a nice place from the road. It was a restaurant that had a huge pool in the middle of it, but apparently they were making only one room available for accommodation. After that it was back to our motel because we had to be up at 3.45. Man I hate those early flights!!
