We were up early this morning to get much-needed haircuts & some colour for Tracey. Our hairdresser was a Shim from Manila who loved to talk! Then it was back on the bus to Laoag where we hung out in McDonalds until it was time to leave. We walked the streets of Laoag first, checking out the leaning bell-tower but there wasn’t much else exciting on offer until we discovered that there was a brand-new shopping mall & movie theatre over the bridge! Of course we discovered this too late to see a movie but we nmanaged to find a new mini backpack/wheelie bag to replace the $10 backpack we had bought in Sengiggi. The old one had broken something on every single bus/plane or boat since we bought it & was being held together with bits of string. From here we hired a cyclo to the airport & flew to Manila for our last night in the Philippines.
