After a big sleep in we were still pretty worn out from the hell trip so we just hung around the resort and swam in the pool. We had a pretty lazy day and just relaxed and talked to a few people at the resort. We meet a guy from Australia who was a builder he was visiting a couple of his mates who had moved here from Australia and apparently had built this huge place on the beach but we had to leave and missed out on their grand opening te next day. The guys are going to sell property on the island. It sounds cheap but you have to have a local on the ownership with a 60% split their way, They seem to have that covered but I guess you would have to check it out if you want to buy some land.
We did not get much out of the resort as we got a bit of rain but it was good just hanging around. Wandered down the beach to check it out but by that time it was dark. We dropped into another resort for a drink and meet a nice guy who was a retired doctor. He had been working in Cambodia for Doctors without borders. After that we went back to our resort for dinner and ended up having drinks with the owner and friends. They were up for a party but we had another early start so it was off to bed around 11.00pm.
